T-Minus Seven and Counting...

Several Hundred boats were bobbing in the Banana River as we counted down the final seconds prior to the launch of the space-shuttle. It was a remarkable site as it lifted off the pad and mounted the clear Florida sky to soar into space so the crew could accomplish their numerous assignments. The fire beneath her silvery frame was mighty and lifted the vessel with remarkable power. In a few minutes the wave of sound vibrated the air around us and we heard the rumble of the power’s presence.

It is T minus seven days and counting! The pastoral staff in Haiti has been praying for weeks and preparations are being made for my arrival. Here, I am continuing to prepare before the Lord for His moving among the people in Cap-Haitien. Last Thursday Barbara and I drove to Columbia, South Carolina to meet with Bill and Ginny Dawson, who had organized a session of ministry to us through two very anointed men of God, David Heath, very gifted in the healing ministry and Jim Riley, equally gifted in the prophetic ministry. It was a time that became a learning and spiritual encounter with the Father that will shape our lives for years to come. The wisdom and power of God was magnificent. We are both so appreciative of the time and anointed praying that ministered to us “with a laying on of hands”.

A call from DeWitt and Dawn Woodward came while we were still in the Columbia area inviting me to minister on Sunday afternoon to the congregation of the Metro Baptist Church Without Walls in Austel, Georgia. Dr. Bob Moore is putting together a ministry with a local congregation as well as an extended congregation who participate in the service through the medium of “conference calling” from all over the United States. Today’s technology virtually reaches all who will be available to be reached. For example, a simple telephone call and a speakerphone allows a family in Memphis and a family in Colorado to worship together over the telephone with a congregation in Georgia. Prayer requests are taken by Dr. Bob and prayed for live from both sectors. Worship can be entered into by all who will lift up their voices to the Lord. It was a wonderful experience to preach to people in several states at the same time through the auspices of this “Church without Walls.”

The opportunity not only allowed the Lord to touch a number of people but allowed us to share about Haiti and gather still others who are beginning to pray for this “move” of God through Tabernacle Church in Cap-Haitien.

And now an invitation has come from the Jim Wilson Evangelistic Association to travel with a few other men of God to India for a Pastor’s School of Evangelism in 2007. A decision will have to be made very shortly in order to take advantage of the prices available for travel at this juncture. I would be teaching Pastors in the school each day on the subject: “The Importance of the Presence”. I would like to hear from several of my readers who would begin praying for this AbbaQuest in India.

Remember, Monday, July 17th (seven days from today), I fly to Haiti and will be ministering Jesus that evening to thousands. Expect the Presence to be powerful! Expect miracles! Expect the Fire of God to bring an invasion of Heaven to Earth in that place, at that time, for all the needs that present themselves to the Lord God in each service. I am believing for the dominion of the King of Kings to be so present that the “will of God in Heaven” will manifest itself in the Tabernacle in Cap-Haitien and even overflow into the streets. May the Light of God dispel the darkness and the Gates of the Body of Christ crash and crush the gates of Hell in Haiti. Remember….never forget…WE ARE ON THE OFFENSE not the defense! He Who arose, IS ARISEN!
