IT'S HAPPENING IN HAITI

WATER CHALLENGE BEING SOLVED
The water challenge is being met in Cap-Haitien at the “Tabernacle of Praise” church compound. Instead of $5,000.00, the cost has been reduced to $1,500.00, by drilling the present well deeper. There were concerns as to that being done due to being near the coast and the threat of salt water. After careful consideration the area “expert well driller” recommended going deeper as opposed to drilling a completely new well on the compound property. AbbaQuest is worshipping the Lord with an offering to have the well extended.

NEW DATE SET FOR 1ST LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Bill and Ginny Dawson will be traveling with me to Haiti on December 6-14 to teach in the first Leadership Conference at “Tabernacle of Praise” Church in Cap-Haitien. Our flight leaves Ft. Lauderdale at 6:30 AM and arrives in Cap-Haitien at 9:00 AM. We will be whisked from the airport to the church compound and enter the sanctuary at 10:00 AM where possibly over 10,000 people will be awaiting our arrival and the presentation of the Word of God. We believe the anointing will be on us to impart the message and ministry God so longs to pour out on those who will be there that day. The Wednesday service is heavily attended and people come from many places throughout Haiti for this service each week. After the service, some four hours later, we will have our first session of the Leadership conference with approximately 500 people who serve in various capacities in the “Tabernacle of Praise” ministry.

We continue to trust God for the supply to be able to feed, twice a day, the 500 who attend the conference. We believe this would please the Lord and bless those who struggle everyday for food. Please pray to that end with us.

OUR FAITH IS RISING
As we are cleansed by a daily immersion into the Word of God (Ephesians 5:26), we are becoming more and more aware of the Presence of the Lord that is allowing the Holy Spirit to bring fresh anointing for the task at hand. As each of us spend personal time before the Lord our faith is rising to meet the necessities around us. We are becoming more sensitive to the emergence of the operation of the “gifts of the Holy Spirit” to meet the needs of those who hunger and thirst for the Lord’s touch in their lives.

Last Friday, prior to leaving for the Norvel Hayes Conference in Crystal River, Florida this week, I was called by my dear friend DeWitt Woodward from the Starwell Medical Center where he had just been taken by ambulance with what was suspected to be congestive heart failure. With slurred speech he requested me to pray for him. The Spirit of the Lord came on me and I commanded DeWitt to live and not die. I commanded the demons of Hell that were trying to kill him to leave him and for the Angels of Heaven to gather around him and minister life and health to his body. I reminded the Precious Lord Jesus of His promise that “whatsoever things you desire, believe that you receive them and they shall be yours” (Mark 11:24). I reminded God of His promise that “by HIS stripes, we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

DeWitt was in church on Sunday and soon back in the office. I spoke with Dewitt last night (11/9/06) on the telephone and he told me how, what he described as the “Glory” of the Lord, came into his room as I prayed for him and his condition began being changed at that point. God has gotten his attention about certain things and he is in compliance to make changes necessary to his overall health.

On Wednesday evening I spoke with my wife on the phone and was advised of her car having been hit from behind during her drive home. There was no apparent damage to the car, but the jolt was enough to jar her neck and back into spasms of pain and stiffness. I immediately prayed for her on the telephone and declared the promises of God. I demanded every bit of stiffness and pain to leave her body and for her to be able to rest. Her testimony to me last night, when I arrived home from the conference, was that after I prayed for her every bit of stiffness and pain left her body, she slept comfortably all night, and she had not had one bit of pain all day long.

In both of those instances, I noticed, immediately that “faith” arose within the midst of me to meet the necessity that presented itself at that very moment. I did not have to think through it and find out what the will of God was before I prayed. It was like a thunderbolt of belief hit me and I began to pray with a confidence that God was waiting to hear what I was saying in order to perform it for His honor and glory. God performs His Word! He is a Faith God and responds only to Faith. We often get nothing because we speak words that do not line up with the Word of God. God honors His Word, not mine. I believed what I was saying was already done and as I spoke it God was hearing with great pleasure and delight. The Bible says, “And it shall come to pass that, before they call I will answer, and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” (Isaiah 65:24)
Well, it is coming to pass in these days.

Sickness is never the will of God; NEVER. Our acceptance of such is always to explain away our lack of revelation of His purposes for our lives and our acceptance of unbelief as opposed to Faith. Disease and sickness comes from stress and a lack of ease or peace in our lives. Unresolved wounding, guilt, as well as a broken spirit; and of course anger and bitterness, all lend themselves to leaving us open for sickness. God does not put sickness on us to test us, to punish us, or to kill us. Satan attacks us because his plan is to steal our joy, kill our life and destroy our usefulness for God. Our being well intimidates every demon of Hell. The Devil thinks he can prevail over the “body of Christ” if he can make enough of us sick. He will never prevail over us. That is the Word of God. (Matthew 16:18) WE are the offense, never the defense!

God is “Jehovah-Rophe, God our Healer”. (Exodus 15:26) Nothing is too hard for Him. (Jeremiah 32:17) He sent His Word to heal us. (Psalm 107:20) And Jesus is His Word made flesh. (John 1:1-2; 14) What He was, He IS, and will be forever! (Hebrews `13:8) And He is even more powerful in the earth today because of the indwelling Holy Spirit, Who is the POWER source of everything Jesus said and says or did and does! He said, “The works that I do, you too shall do, and greater works than these shall you do, because I go to the Father.” (John 14:12) (1 Corinthians 12:4-11) He is alive! His Word is alive because He is alive. And because of that LIFE His promises are sure, all of them. What was good for “back then” is good for today, because when the last Apostle died, the Holy Spirit didn’t; nor did He vacate the earth, the church or any individual believers in the earth. That’s right, He who arose, IS ARISEN, and is alive forevermore! And the “gift of the Father” is no less our “paraclete” today than He was the day He came to the 120 in the upper room. He did not come just to the Apostles. He came on all 120 of them who gathered in that upper room…all of them. (Acts1:14-15; 2:1-4) Never forget, when Jesus prayed in John 17, He included you and me. (John 17:20)

So rejoice my friends. You are part of a great opportunity to make a difference in the world. Believe the Word…do the Word…and change your square mile because “greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4) Pray for us! Stand in the gap for us! Exercise your Faith and be a part of God’s miracles in Haiti.

You are appreciated,

Dave Toler
