HAITI: THE FINAL REPORT

After reports of violence and uncertain safety in Port-Au-Prince, the prayers and even fasting of righteous men and women availed much and my Monday travel through Cap-Haiten and Port-Au-Prince was uneventful. Several trucks filled with UN personnel with automatic weapons were out and about in both cities but all went smoothly and I arrived on US soil in one piece and with much “peace”.

The Presence of the Lord was evidenced in the meetings at the “Tabernacle of Praise” on an hour by hour basis. Every service was anointed by the precious Holy Spirit. Worship was an hour and a half to two and a half hours long before I ever preached a word. Teams of people stationed in various locations under the platform area and under the arena prayed throughout the entire service, every service, every day. There were up to three services a day. I preached twice a day. The crowds in my meetings were 1,500-2,000 in one meeting and 7,000 to 10,000 plus in all the other meetings.

There were several meetings where people were healed during the service by the Power of the Presence. The most significant two were, first of all, the lady who had a dream the night before, in which a man in the dream told her to go to Cap-Haitien to a place called “Tabernacle”, and she would be healed. Having been very ill for nearly three years and in pain, to the point she trembled all the time, she walked 7 miles into the city and asked if anyone knew about a place called “Tabernacle”. She was given directions and a few blocks from the arena she heard the singing. Upon entering the stadium like structure, she found a place to finally rest herself and during the preaching of the Word of God, peace began coming on her body. At the invitation for people to respond to the Lord Jesus Christ, she came to the altar and gave her heart to Christ. When I asked, “Where is the person who came here today extremely ill and you have been healed in this service? You know who you are because all the symptoms are gone and you are without pain.” Frantically, a lady, three people from me, in front of the platform, waved her arm in the air and began telling Pastor Ecclesias her testimony. He handed her the microphone and she told the entire crowd.

The other significant healing, due to the power of the Presence, was the young adult who had not been able to make a sound for three months. During the worship he began singing! He, too, came to give his heart to the Lord Jesus.

Over 2,000 responded to the invitations given during the week.

An open invitation has been extended to me to return anytime for whatever length of time I can come, and to bring Pastors and Teachers with me for Bible Conferences. The hunger for the Word is great. The need for training is immense! Thousands await our help!

I have been very impressed with the anointed man of God who leads this ministry. Pastor Ecclesias began this work under a tree fourteen years ago with 20 people. Today he is the only man in Haiti who can leave his church with 10,000 and march through the city singing songs of praise and worship and return to the “Tabernacle” with 50,000 in the parade. Government factions have pursued him to join their forces of uprising but he has refused each time declaring he works with a different government, the government of the Kingdom of God and he will not lead his people of Peace into their violence. They came looking for him to kill him. He was not at home, but they broke in and beat his wife with a hammer. Pastor Ecclesias moved her to Florida where they have adult children, and he continues to travel back and forth as needed so he can continue to lead this mighty ministry. Upon his return, he moved into the church compound, which is a concrete fortress. I firmly believe “Tabernacle of Praise” under the leadership of Pastor Ecclesias, is the arm of God in Haiti that can bring a sweeping spiritual awakening and revival that can turn Haiti from being the “bowels of the Carribbean”, to being the “Jewel Of God” in the Carribbean.

He is the only Haitian national who owns and operates a Christian Radio station. It is on 24-7 with no advertisements. His programming and all services can be heard live, around the world, through their internet address, www.radiotabernacle.com. All of my services were heard by people in the United States live last week. Of course, the station is in “Creole”, however, they have reports of people from Boston to Miami, and several other states who are regularly listening through their computer. My messages were interpreted live by Pastor Ecclesias

The darkness in Haiti is formidable. I went with the Pastor to a Voodoo Village on Thursday afternoon. I saw a goat and a cow being sacrificed to Satan, I witnessed Satanic baptisms of women who disrobed in front of the public and were washed with a satanic soap and doused with buckets of water then rubbed with leafy limbs. I saw a mother give her daughter of about ten years of age to a witch-doctor who bathed her in like fashion. The next step, I am told, is for these women to be demon-filled and possessed. The air was thick with demonic presence. People threw money into the filthy grunge filled retention pond where the baptism were taking place and boys who had been given to Satan were allowed to go into the water to retrieve the money, which they were allowed to keep.

Needless to say, I went to the “Tabernacle” that night with a new ferver and a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit. Christian believers, we cannot allow that hatred and darkness to prevail in Haiti. We must rise up as men and women of God and do war in the Heavenlies with our effectual, fervent praying for Pastor Ecclesias and all other Christ honoring ministers in Haiti and do great damage to the work of the “enemy”.

Jesus said, “on this rock I will build my Church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it”.

Friends, we are on the offense, not the defense. The gates of Hell will not prevail against the attack of the “body of Christ”. It is time to crash the gates of Hell in these island strongholds, and crush those gates with the Power of the Presence of God, through the Holy Spirit both in us and on us. Pray my friends, Pray! God is listening and answering with Power from on High.

Again , let me say, Pastor Ecclesias has offered to me an “open invitation” to bring other Pastors and Teachers with me for “Bible Conferences”. The need for teaching and training is great. Hearts are hungry for the Word of God. I said “hungry”! And this church is putting together a “School of the Bible” to train people to go throughout the nation and make the difference. Pray that God will give me Pastors and Teachers to go with me to teach these thousands so they can be equipped to “show, and tell others”.

Urgent Prayer Request

Dear Friends:

Things are going very well in the Haiti Project. There were over 800
decisions for Christ in one meeting and over 400 in another yesterday.
God is moving with power. One man who had not spoken for several years
began singing in the worship service two days ago and came at the
invitation to give his heart to Christ. A lady responded to my declaration
that someone was being healed who had come very sick and the symptoms
were now gone. She was very sick and trembling all the time. She had a
dream in which a man told her to go to Cap-Hatien to a place called
"Tabernacle" and she would be healed. She walked over seven miles as sick
as she was and asked people in the street is they knew of such a
place.

She found the building and came into the service. At the invitation
she came to the altar, giving her heart to Christ and raised her hand
frantically when I declared the healing. There are other stories to
tell. We have seen crowds of over 10,000, and as small as 1,500 during
the day.


URGENT PRAYER NEED: THERE ARE PROBLEMS OF UPRISING. ZOMBIES HAVE BEEN
IN ONE SECTION WHERE A COUPLE OF LADIES FROM THE STATES WHO ARE HERE
WERE GOING TODAY. THE ZOMBIES ARE KILLING AND STEALING. A BUS
TRAVELING FROM CAP-HAITIEN TO PORT-AU-PRINCE WAS STOPPED AND VALUABLES WERE STOLEN FROM THE PEOPLE AND ALL THE WOMEN WERE RAPED.
THERE HAVE BEEN PROBLEMS IN PORT-AU-PRINCE NEAR THE AIRPORT.

MY FLIGHT LEAVES CAP-HAITIEN VERY EARLY MONDAY MORNING. The ride from
the Tabefrnacle to the airport will be with police officer with an AK-47. THERE IS A TEN MINUTE CAB RIDE I HAVE TO TAKE FROM ONE AIRPORT TO ANOTHER once I get to Port-Au-Prince. THERE WILL BE A DRIVER WAITING FOR ME. HE IS NOT ARMED. I WILL BE FLYING AMERICAN AIRLINES TO FT. LAUDERDALE, LEAVING ABOUT 10:00 AM. OR SHORTLY TRHEREAFTER.

T-Minus Seven and Counting...

Several Hundred boats were bobbing in the Banana River as we counted down the final seconds prior to the launch of the space-shuttle. It was a remarkable site as it lifted off the pad and mounted the clear Florida sky to soar into space so the crew could accomplish their numerous assignments. The fire beneath her silvery frame was mighty and lifted the vessel with remarkable power. In a few minutes the wave of sound vibrated the air around us and we heard the rumble of the power’s presence.

It is T minus seven days and counting! The pastoral staff in Haiti has been praying for weeks and preparations are being made for my arrival. Here, I am continuing to prepare before the Lord for His moving among the people in Cap-Haitien. Last Thursday Barbara and I drove to Columbia, South Carolina to meet with Bill and Ginny Dawson, who had organized a session of ministry to us through two very anointed men of God, David Heath, very gifted in the healing ministry and Jim Riley, equally gifted in the prophetic ministry. It was a time that became a learning and spiritual encounter with the Father that will shape our lives for years to come. The wisdom and power of God was magnificent. We are both so appreciative of the time and anointed praying that ministered to us “with a laying on of hands”.

A call from DeWitt and Dawn Woodward came while we were still in the Columbia area inviting me to minister on Sunday afternoon to the congregation of the Metro Baptist Church Without Walls in Austel, Georgia. Dr. Bob Moore is putting together a ministry with a local congregation as well as an extended congregation who participate in the service through the medium of “conference calling” from all over the United States. Today’s technology virtually reaches all who will be available to be reached. For example, a simple telephone call and a speakerphone allows a family in Memphis and a family in Colorado to worship together over the telephone with a congregation in Georgia. Prayer requests are taken by Dr. Bob and prayed for live from both sectors. Worship can be entered into by all who will lift up their voices to the Lord. It was a wonderful experience to preach to people in several states at the same time through the auspices of this “Church without Walls.”

The opportunity not only allowed the Lord to touch a number of people but allowed us to share about Haiti and gather still others who are beginning to pray for this “move” of God through Tabernacle Church in Cap-Haitien.

And now an invitation has come from the Jim Wilson Evangelistic Association to travel with a few other men of God to India for a Pastor’s School of Evangelism in 2007. A decision will have to be made very shortly in order to take advantage of the prices available for travel at this juncture. I would be teaching Pastors in the school each day on the subject: “The Importance of the Presence”. I would like to hear from several of my readers who would begin praying for this AbbaQuest in India.

Remember, Monday, July 17th (seven days from today), I fly to Haiti and will be ministering Jesus that evening to thousands. Expect the Presence to be powerful! Expect miracles! Expect the Fire of God to bring an invasion of Heaven to Earth in that place, at that time, for all the needs that present themselves to the Lord God in each service. I am believing for the dominion of the King of Kings to be so present that the “will of God in Heaven” will manifest itself in the Tabernacle in Cap-Haitien and even overflow into the streets. May the Light of God dispel the darkness and the Gates of the Body of Christ crash and crush the gates of Hell in Haiti. Remember….never forget…WE ARE ON THE OFFENSE not the defense! He Who arose, IS ARISEN!

Preparation for Haiti AbbaQuest Underway

Everyday gets more exciting. The Lord God is preparing me both in my mind and spirit for what He desires to accomplish in Cap-Hatien later this month. I have been spending more and more time in worship and prayer before the Father. This ministry is not about me, but is about Him and His desires for the men, women and children that will be in attendance in the arena of Tabernacle Church.

I am asking the Holy Spirit to “transform” me with a fresh renewing of my mind so I will be able to vessel the will of the Father during the planned and unplanned services about to take place in this effort. It is so easy to give in to religion’s conformities of convenience. We have all been molded by our surroundings more than we want to admit. What was fresh and vibrant last month, or even last week is often stale for tomorrow’s challenges. When the “manna” is moldy it is of no use. Last week’s supply is religious rigidity when placed alongside of what the Father wants to supply for accomplishing His desires through us tomorrow.

Jesus exampled, as the Son of Man, an uprightness before the Father to which we must learn to be yielded. It is easy to rely on our limited intellect and oratorical expressions from the past to be the well from which we draw water for those thirsting before us. But that water is stagnant and infested. We must draw from the eternal spring of living water that gushes from the Holy Spirit within us; a spring that is refreshing and thirst quenching for all who drink from these cups of our lives.

That is why He must be pre-eminent. He must be exalted, honored and glorified. He must have the room to move in the power of His Holy Spirit and utilize the Word Christ “IS” to manifest the work of His heart in each individual. I do not want my lines to limit His work. I pray He will paint as broad of stokes, such as pleases Him; that He will “work in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure” in Cap-Haitien. I am His servant. He is not mine!

Last week, in a time of wonderful, but quiet worship, I began sensing a heartbeat in Father’s chest for the people in Haiti. He was making me aware of His compassion for their poverty, their sicknesses and diseases, their oppressive battle with Voodoo curses and witchcraft, the darkness that is so prevalent and the need for His light to dispel it. Through Him I began feeling the hopelessness of the unsaved; the hunger for the Word of so many who are trying to follow Christ.

In the Spirit, I saw angels come and take their place, standing on top of the balcony walls all around the stadium-like arena. I saw them atop the platform area and up and down each isle. They ushered in the Presence of the Lord as He rode the “wings of the wind” (Psalm 104:3). The pulpit became a flame of fire and the smoke of His presence filled the place. It was a Holy moment. There was a Holy Presence. Worship was obvious. There was nothing as important as the Presence of the Lord. He was all that mattered…His Presence was the only thing that satisfied.

Pray, my friends. Pray!

A New AbbaQuest in Haiti

We have taken a giant step of faith and I am no longer working in a secular position. I am finalizing what writing I can for publication and I am accepting meetings for our newly founded AbbaQuest Ministries. We are under construction on a website for our outreach. I have just accepted an invitation to Cap-Hatien, Haiti to preach the week of July 17, morning and evening services. The services will be broadcast on a 50,000 watt radio station that covers the entire Caribbean. The Church seats 10,000 people and regularly has 8,000 + in attendance. The morning services will have 1,500-2,000 in them.

It will be the first time that I have preached in this arena of evangelism for almost forty years! Many people believed that I should have never left that gift for pastoring. I do think that they are probably right. It is amazing to what extent The Father will go to to develop a man of God after His own heart. As long as it has taken….I am grateful. I know that most men are thinking of retiring at the age of nearly 64 and here I am being asked by God to do what my whole life has been preparing me to accomplish.

This is only the beginning. I am a child of His grace and mercy. Please pray for me. Pray for souls, for believers to be deepened by the Word of God during this crusade in Cap-Hatien. It is not about me, it is about Him! Lift Him up. Honor and magnify Him. Give Him all of the glory. Give Him power and dominion in this evangelistic and teaching effort. Let’s give Him the freedom to change Cap-Hatien and the entire island through this week of meetings. Plead the Blood of Jesus upon me, that I may be covered, that I may be hidden and He is exalted.

I am praying three hours a day for his outreach in addition to spending all of the time that I can gleaning from the Heart of The Father the messages He is wanting me to deliver from His Word for this hour in Haiti. There are many throughout the Caribbean that will be affected by your prayers. I believe that the arena will be overflowing before the week has ended, many souls will be saved, the church will grow in depth because of this event, and that there will be a great breakthrough in dispelling the darkness that prevails over this island.

Satan is mighty, but The Lord our God is Almighty. I need you in this great prayer effort…Thank you and God Bless you, and may He do it over and over as you are faithful to intercede for the launching of AbbaQuest Ministries.
